Lady Slippers Sterling Silver Large Drop Earrings

The "Lady Slippers" sterling silver earrings are designed and engraved by island artisan jeweller Laura Dutheil. The large drops are  7/8 x 3/4 inch and .5mil sterling silver on sterling silver hooks with engraved words "Lady Slippers" on the back and the artists' initials "LD".

The Lady Slippers is a wild perennial orchid found on the forest floor of Haida Gwaii. The colour of this beautiful  flower is purple and has a slipper shaped lip with the lower portion as a spotted pouch. Lady Slippers are a protected species on Haida Gwaii , to be admired and left to exist freely!
